There are many great movies that celebrate the beauty of women, but Beautiful Girls is perhaps one of the most iconic. Its cast includes multiple actresses, including Emma Stone, Kate Winslet, and Jennifer Aniston. But while the movie is full of beautiful women, it also has its share of ugly undertones. Miramax Films, the company behind Beautiful Girls, was founded by Harvey Weinstein, and many of the women in the film's cast have since come forward to claim sexual assault. In fact, Hutton was allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl a few years ago; he's since maintained his innocence. Michael Rapaport has also been accused of a few less-than-great things. The film stars Timothy Hutton, Matt Dillon, Uma Thurman, Mira Sorvino, Martha Plimpton, and Noah Emmerich. The movie also stars Natalie Portman, who was only 15 when Beautiful Girls came out, as a lonely and emo teenager who grew up surrounded by supermodels. Natalie Portman is a budding knockout, and her role in Beautiful Girls is heart-wrenching, especially the scenes with Willie, her neighbor. The movie isn't a masterpiece, but it does have its moments. The actors are top-notch and bring a certain amount of energy to the movie. Their natural quirks and idiosyncrasies make the film hilarious. However, despite its flaws, my sources Beautiful Girls is still a worthwhile watch. The cast is above-average, and it's hard to deny the joy this film offers.
